Job summary

IAA Holdings, LLC (IAA), a Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers company, is seeking a Vehicle Collection Class 1 Driver for Teesside. You will collect vehicles, load and offload them onto an HGV using a winch where needed, and ensure height restrictions are met.

You will document heights before journeys and comply with driving regulations. The role requires good communication, a customer-focused approach, and a minimum of six months’ driving experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• Class 1 Driving License is essential.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Card required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Vehicle Collection Class 1 Driver

16-18T Day Driver

Teesside

Salary: Competitive + Vehicle collection bonus & overtime

The Opportunity

You will be collecting vehicles from various locations. Be loading and offloading collected vehicles from our clients and customers onto your HGV using the vehicle winch where required. Height and weight restrictions will apply, and you will need to record height before every journey using the measuring stick and cab height indicator.

Here’s What You Bring

• Minimum of 6 months driving experience
• Previous recovery/car transporter experience would be an advantage (full company training will be provided)
• You should have good communication and customer service skills
• Be self-motivated, organised and resilient
• Have good attention to detail
• Class 1 Driving License
