Job summary

Escape in East Kilbride is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. You will build and test vehicles in production, then assist with aftersales servicing and occasional customer-site support. A full UK driving licence is required. The role is permanent with immediate starts.

The position offers £18.00–£21.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in East Kilbride. Experience across automotive, HGV, plant or heavy vehicles is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience in automotive or heavy vehicle environments.
• Comfort with workshop tools and torque equipment.
• Experience with diagnostics and electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build complete vehicles in production.
• Fit, torque and test mechanical and electrical components.
• Work from drawings and schematics to assemble units.
