Job summary

BCA, the UK's largest B2B used vehicle service, is hiring a Vehicle Appraiser to join its site operations. You’ll prepare vehicles for sale by producing accurate condition reports and high-quality images using our in-house systems, and assess vehicles against BCA grading and cost standards.

You’ll carry out detailed appraisals, capture images with mobile devices, meet daily targets, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to value-enhancing services.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in an active, outdoor role.
• A team player who can also work independently.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Interest or experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out detailed vehicle appraisals

• Producing accurate, costed condition reports in line with BCA standards
• Meeting daily targets for inspections and imaging
• Keeping up to date with customer standards and inspection processes
• Recommending value-enhancing services where appropriate
• Safely moving vehicles around site in line with all safety procedures
• Maintaining a safe working environment and following health & safety guidelines

Main purpose of the role

Join BCA as a Vehicle Appraiser and become part of the UK’s largest used vehicle remarketing business. In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing vehicles for sale by producing accurate, high-quality condition reports and images for our online platform.

Using our in-house systems, you’ll assess vehicles against BCA grading and cost standards—ensuring every vehicle is represented accurately for our customers.
