Job summary

BCA is recruiting a Vehicle Appraiser to join the UK’s largest used vehicle remarketing business. You will prepare vehicles for sale by delivering accurate condition reports and high-quality images using our in-house systems and adhere to BCA standards.

You will inspect, report, and photograph vehicles, meeting daily targets while safely moving cars around site and maintaining safety procedures. A full UK licence and keen eye for detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in an active, outdoor role.
• A team player who can also work independently.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Interest or experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out detailed vehicle appraisals.
• Capturing high-quality vehicle images using mobile devices.
• Producing accurate, costed condition reports in line with BCA standards.

• Keeping up to date with customer standards and inspection processes.
• Recommending value-enhancing services where appropriate.

Main purpose of the role

Join BCA as a Vehicle Appraiser and become part of the UK’s largest used vehicle remarketing business. In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing vehicles for sale by producing accurate, high-quality condition reports and images for our online platform.

Using our in-house systems, you’ll assess vehicles against BCA grading and cost standards—ensuring every vehicle is represented accurately for our customers.

Up to £60k per annum to start, after 6 months and delivery on set objectives up to £65k

Starting on £40k, up to £45k per annum after 6 months
