SSE is seeking a Vegetation Management Resilience Tree Cutting Surveyor based in Inverness to protect the transmission network. You will survey vegetation near assets, assess risk according to ET132, and support planning and delivery of essential tree-cutting works.
You will need a full driving licence, UA5 qualification, and practical experience in utility arboriculture, with strong planning, stakeholder engagement and clear documentation skills.

We are looking for a Vegetation Management Resilience Tree Cutting Surveyor to join our SSEN Transmission Vegetation Management team. In this role, you'll help protect the safety, reliability and resilience of the transmission network across the north of Scotland by surveying trees and vegetation near our assets, assessing risk in line with ETR132 requirements, and supporting the planning and delivery of essential tree cutting works.
It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence, as there will be a requirement for travel and work away from home, often overnight for short periods of time.
