Loomis UK is hiring a Vault Operative in Dunstable. The role involves assisting with loading/unloading cash, supporting a fleet of secure vehicles, and liaising between branch management and road crews. Full training provided and progression opportunities exist.

Hours are 40 per week with rotating shifts (mids and nights) and a London allowance of £1,725 per year. A strong emphasis on integrity and customer service is required.

Job description

Our Dunstable branch is seeking Warehouse Operatives (known internally as Vault Operatives) to support our drivers in loading and distribution of cash throughout our branch network.

Hours: 40 hoursper week

Pay: £14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour after probation, plus London allowance of £1725 per annum

Shifts: Rotating - mids (14:00 - 22:00) and nights (22:00 - 06:00). Weekends 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00

The role

As a Vault Operative, you will assist the management team in the day-to-day operation of the branch, including supporting with a fleet of high spec security armoured vehicles.

Reporting to the shift manager, you will be responsible for collating deliveries and collections as well as the safe loading and unloading of customers' money.

You will provide an effective communication chain between branch management and road crew, as well as liaising and communicating with customers on day-to-day service and operational requirements.

Compliance with all vault and dispatchprocedures and systems in accordance with company standards is vital for this role along with the ability to monitor the standard of documentation and issue of security equipment.
