Job summary

Loomis UK Colchester branch is seeking Vault Operatives to support drivers in loading and distributing cash across the branch network. You will report to the shift manager, collate deliveries, and handle safe loading/unloading while maintaining clear communication with road crews and customers.

Our Colchester branch is seeking Warehouse Operatives (known internally as Vault Operatives) to support our drivers in loading and distribution of cash throughout our branch network.

Hours:40 hoursper week

Pay: £14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour after probation, plus London allowance of £1725 per annum

Shifts: Mids (14:00 - 22:00) and nights (22:00 - 06:00). Weekends 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00

The role

As a Vault Operative, you will assist the management team in the day-to-day operation of the branch, including supporting with a fleet of high spec security armoured vehicles.

Reporting to the shift manager, you will be responsible for collating deliveries and collections as well as the safe loading and unloading of customers' money.

You will provide an effective communication chain between branch management and road crew, as well as liaising and communicating with customers on day-to-day service and operational requirements.

Compliance with all vault and dispatchprocedures and systems in accordance with company standards is vital for this role along with the ability to monitor the standard of documentation and issue of security equipment.
