Job Description

What will you be doing?

We're seeking a talented individual at Senior Manager level to join our VAT Tax Team in the North, which is responsible for providing VAT compliance and advisory services for a wide range of business clients.

You will be managing your own portfolio of clients, working with Directors or alone on complicated consultancy and advisory projects. A significant part of the role will be managing client relationships and identifying opportunities on existing clients as well as potentially developing a specialist field of technical and/or sector knowledge and expertise.

As a Senior Manager your responsibilities will include;

• Overseeing complex VAT projects and engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
• Developing and implementing VAT strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize efficiency
• Providing expert advice on VAT matters to clients, including multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals
• Leading and managinga team of VAT professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to develop their skills and expertise
• Staying up-to-date with changes in VAT legislation and communicate implications to clients
• Collaboratingwith other tax and advisory teams to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
• Contributingto business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations
• Managingclient relationships and act as a trusted advisor on VAT-related matters
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of VAT operations

• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams
• Advanced knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance
