• A high impact, senior role with a global business.
• Great for someone with a deep passion for, and expertise in VAT technical matters, who has proven experience in designing, embedding, and continuously improving VAT risk frameworks and assurance programmes.
• The role will ensure operational practices are robust, scalable, and fully aligned with regulatory obligations, while providing actionable insights to senior leadership and proactively mitigating VAT exposure.
• You’ll have proven experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration with business, operational and risk management to embed robust controls into daily operations, implement process improvements, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
• You’ll also challenge operational readiness for new controls and processes, reviewing outcomes and minimum standards.
• It’s highly likely that you will currently be working for a global business (probably ex Big 4 where your technical capabilities will have been learnt), and be well versed in translating your knowledge of VAT legislation into practical operational results.
