Job summary

BLT in Manchester is seeking a VAT risk and controls specialist to review, validate, and embed VAT risk controls across business operations.

The role blends VAT advisory expertise with operational assurance to strengthen controls, improve compliance, and support informed decision‑making by ensuring testing, evidence collection, and assessments are robust and aligned with policy.

Experience in a Big 4 VAT advisory team or a regulated large business is advantageous.

• Newly created role with this well-known global business - basically reviewing, validating, and embedding VAT risk controls across business operations.
• This role combines VAT advisory expertise with operational assurance to strengthen controls, enhance compliance, and support informed business decision-making.
• The successful candidate will help operational teams de-risk VAT exposure by ensuring testing, evidence collection, and compliance assessments are robust, consistent, and aligned with regulatory, policy, and organizational requirements.
