Job summary

Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax in Solihull is seeking a VAT Manager to join our expanding VAT Advisory practice. You will lead and manage complex VAT advisory projects across land and property, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions, providing expert advice to internal teams and clients.

Working with the VAT Director, you will help identify business development opportunities, contribute to the growth of the VAT practice, and have the prospect of fast-track progression to

The Role:

• Lead and manage complex VAT advisory projects, including matters related to land and property, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions.
• Provide expert VAT advice to internal teams on a wide range of commercial matters, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
• Work closely with the VAT Director and the marketing team to identify and pursue business development opportunities, strengthening relationships with both existing and potential clients.
• Contribute to the growth of the VAT practice, with the opportunity for fast-track progression to Senior Manager, including involvement in presenting at webinars, seminars, and other professional events.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to develop strategic solutions.
• A solid understanding of VAT, with a genuine interest in expanding technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, clients, and senior stakeholders.
