Pro‑Recruitment Group in Birmingham seeks a VAT Manager to join a leading advisory firm. This hybrid role focuses on corporate VAT advisory for a diverse client base, with ownership of projects from inception to completion and opportunities to mentor junior staff.

You will handle day-to-day VAT matters and complex advisory engagements, including HMRC enquiries and disclosures, with clear progression within a growing VAT team.

Formación

• Strong UK VAT experience, ideally gained in practice or professional services.
• Experience managing VAT advisory projects and client engagements.
• Technical knowledge across a broad range of VAT matters.
• Experience supporting clients through HMRC enquiries and disclosures.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff.

I'm working with a leading top 20 accountancy and advisory firm to recruit a VAT Manager into its growing indirect tax team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VAT professional looking for a role with a strong advisory focus, exposure to complex client work and the chance to take ownership of relationships and projects from start to finish.

The Opportunity

You'll lead a varied portfolio of VAT advisory engagements, working with corporate clients across a range of sectors on both day-to-day VAT matters and complex projects.

The role offers exposure to corporate transactions, business restructures, HMRC enquiries, disclosures and VAT process reviews, while also providing the opportunity to develop junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

What You'll Need
