Top 20 Accountancy Practice is looking for a VAT Compliance Specialist to join their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VAT specialist to build their career within a collaborative environment.

The Role:

1. Preparing EC VAT returns, Intrastat Reports, EC sales listings, and other filings for your portfolio.
2. Advising clients on VAT payable or refundable for VAT returns.
3. Obtaining relevant documents from clients before submission deadlines.
4. Ensuring all return filing deadlines are met.
5. Liaising with clients as the main point of contact to prepare and submit EC VAT returns.

The Candidate:

1. Experience with UK and EU VAT.
2. Experience in a client-facing environment.
3. Ability to build rapport and relationships with colleagues, team members, and clients.
4. Ability to perform well in fast-paced environments while remaining calm and focused.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Additional languages, particularly German and Polish, are highly desirable.
