Job summary

Marks Sattin are recruiting a VAT Compliance Manager to join a growing global business services provider with hybrid working options in Bradford or Leeds. You will own VAT return preparation and provide VAT guidance to the wider business.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification and experience in VAT filings, with responsibilities including monthly balance sheet reconciliations, internal training, and liaising with external advisors. A strong communicator who can work across teams will excel.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in VAT return preparation and filings.
• Strong communication and ability to interpret analyses clearly.
• Ability to work across internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT returns for clients.
• Provide VAT guidance to the business.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide training to other areas on VAT legislation.
• Liaise with external advisors as needed.
• Review and approve invoices from a VAT perspective.
