Job summary

Marks Sattin is partnering with a rapidly growing, technology-driven global business services provider to appoint a Senior VAT Manager in Leeds with hybrid working. You will deliver high-quality VAT advisory and compliance services across multiple jurisdictions and support both internal stakeholders and external clients.

You will lead end-to-end VAT advisory projects, oversee compliance activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with teams across the UK, Europe and the US to adapt to

Qualifications

• Extensive VAT experience in both compliance and advisory.
• Strong technical ability to interpret VAT legislation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical VAT advice on complex domestic and international matters.
• Managing and delivering end-to-end VAT advisory projects.
• Overseeing VAT compliance activity and month-end reporting.
• Supporting VAT audits, HMRC enquiries and disclosures.
• Monitoring VAT legislation changes and advising senior stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Leading, developing and mentoring junior team members.
• Acting as a trusted contact for internal stakeholders and multinational clients.
