Job summary

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a registered nurse to join the vascular screening team to deliver AAA surveillance, clinical assessments and health promotion. The role involves driving across the region to conduct face-to-face clinics, potential Saturday shifts, and working flexible hours.

Ultrasound scanning experience is advantageous but not essential; commitment to completing Level 3 Health Screener Diploma within two years.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with vascular surgery experience preferred.
• Experience in AAA management/surveillance advantageous.
• Willingness to drive across the region and access to a car.
• Commitment to completing Level 3 Health Screener Diploma within two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide AAA surveillance and clinical assessments.
• Deliver health promotion and risk reduction advice.
• Check BP and BMI during face-to-face reviews.
• Scan surveillance subjects if trained or undertake diploma.
