Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is seeking registered nurses with vascular experience to join the North Wales Vascular Network. You will participate in education, development and supervision of staff and work within a newly developed vascular ward and Hybrid Theatre facilities.

We welcome applicants who can speak Welsh or English; newly qualified nurses can access preceptorship and progress to Practice Supervisors and Assessors for future nursing students.

Qualifications

• NMC registered with current practice.
• Evidence of post-registration study and training (POVA / safeguarding).
• Experience in holistic nursing care and applying evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Assist in management and organisation of the clinical area and supervise staff.
• Take responsibility for a ward or equivalent nursing area in the absence of senior staff.
