This is a Specialist Practitioner position responsible for high-quality outpatient vascular nursing or podiatry care, providing expert advice, support, and education based on clinical evidence. The role involves liaising with departments, the lead clinician, community teams, and developing partnerships with various groups. The post includes training at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and Torbay Hospital, leading to roles such as independent clinics, multidisciplinary presentations, primary-secondary care liaison, palliative discussions, and health promotion. The role is evolving, requiring independent decision-making experience.

Salary: The advertised salary reflects the Agenda for Change 5/6 rates, with a pay award to be implemented later this year. If appointed before the award, backdated pay applies. Until then, pay is based on the 4/5 pay bandings.
