Job summary

Exeter College is seeking an experienced professional in Building Services Engineering to teach and/or assess apprentices. You’ll share industry knowledge and support learners to progress, with feedback driving development and end point assessments.

The role offers variable, ad-hoc hours and training opportunities to qualify as a teacher or assessor. Applicants must be passionate, patient and team‑oriented, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Background in Building Services Engineering? Fancy sharing your industry skills and knowledge with the next generation?

We’re looking for someone with industry experience in Building Services Engineering to join our team and teach and/or assess apprentices working towards their qualifications and end point assessments.

You don’t need to have teaching or assessing experience for this role. We’re most interested in your industry knowledge, practical experience and enthusiasm for helping young people develop the skills they need to succeed in the Construction sector. Training towards a teaching or assessor qualification can be provided for the right person.

The role offers variable, ad-hoc hours, so it could be a great opportunity if you’re looking for occasional work or something you can fit alongside your current role.
