Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus in Bristol is seeking a qualified Van technician to join our depot on a full-time permanent basis. You will interpret repair orders, work to manufacturer specifications, and record tests and outcomes with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail required.
• Experience with light vehicle servicing and repair processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturer manuals and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret repair orders and comply with repair instructions and tolerances.
• Attend training and stay updated with latest technical information.
• Accurately report work and tests, and flag further faults.
• Protect and maintain tools and equipment in prescribed manner.
• Protect customers and company property.
• Keep work areas clean and dispose of scrap promptly.
• Provide information and maintain records accurately.
• Carry out other tasks as reasonably required.
• Enhance company image and support commercial interests.
• Comply with health and safety and company policies.
