Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced Van Technician to join a growing commercial vehicle workshop in Taunton. You will service, maintain, diagnose, and repair light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards, with emphasis on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

In this role you’ll work in a modern aftersales environment, with ongoing manufacturer training, uncapped bonus potential, and a generous sign-on option.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience as Vehicle Technician or Van Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Complete detailed vehicle inspections and repair documentation.
• Utilise manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems.
• Identify and report additional repair requirements where appropriate.
• Carry out final quality checks and road tests where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Contribute to workshop efficiency and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Van Technician – Taunton Join a Growing Commercial Vehicle Workshop
Location: Taunton
Salary: Competitive basic salary with uncapped bonus potential
Hours: Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis, paid at enhanced overtime rates

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Van Technician to join a busy and successful commercial vehicle workshop in Taunton.

Working within a modern aftersales environment, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on light commercial vehicles while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Van Technician
• Commercial vehicle experience beneficial but not essential
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong team-working skills
• Full UK driving licence
