Job summary

LSH Auto seeks a skilled Van Technician for our flagship dealership in Stockport. You will service and repair Mercedes-Benz vans, with access to manufacturer training on the latest petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric technologies.

We offer a 40-hour week, a salary of up to £56,100 plus overtime, a £2,000 welcome bonus, and a guaranteed bonus for the first 3 months as part of a comprehensive development program.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• At least two years hands-on automotive experience.
• Commitment to high‑quality service and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Willingness to embrace ongoing training, especially in electric vehicle technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Mercedes Benz vans per manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and implement effective repairs.
• Replace parts, oils, and fluids as necessary with thorough records.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop.
• Communicate with customers regarding service and repair needs.

LSH Auto is looking for a Van Technician to join our the team at our flagship dealership in Stockport.

This is more than a traditional technician role. We're looking for people who are passionate about vehicles, take pride in doing things properly and want the opportunity to continue developing their skills as automotive technology evolves.

Whether you already have manufacturer experience or you're looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your technical career, we'll provide the support, training and development to help you progress.

A major part of that development will be access to Mercedes-Benz and BYD manufacturer-specific training and accreditation, giving you the opportunity to develop your expertise across the latest petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicle technologies.

Hours - 40

Salary - Up to £56,100 plus overtime

Welcome Bonus - £2000

Guaranteed Bonus for the first 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Mercedes Benz vans in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and implement effective repairs.

Essential Qualifications:

• At least two years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid UK driving licence (required).
• A willingness to embrace ongoing training and learning opportunities, especially in electric vehicle technologies.
