Job summary

LSH Auto in Stockport is seeking a Vehicle Systems Technician to join our flagship dealership. This role offers Mercedes-Benz and BYD training and the chance to work across petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicle technologies.

You will perform maintenance, diagnose faults, produce CITNOW videos for customers, and ensure high standards of workmanship and safety. NVQ3 in light vehicle maintenance and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in light vehicle maintenance.
• Commitment to future progression for EV qualifications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking maintenance, service and repair activities on Mercedes Benz motor vehicles to the highest standard.
• Repairing, testing vehicles and diagnosing their faults.
• Replacing components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage.
• Producing CITNOW videos to keep customers informed of their vehicle's condition.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety.
• Carrying out work completely and effectively within Mercedes Benz servicing and repair times.
• Advising and reporting on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehicles, including future servicing/repair requirements.

LSH Auto is looking for a Vehicle Systems Technician to join our the team at our flagship dealership in Stockport.

A major part of that development will be access to Mercedes-Benz and BYD manufacturer-specific training and accreditation, giving you the opportunity to develop your expertise across the latest petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicle technologies.

Working Hours: 40
Salary: Up to £56,400 plus overtime
Welcome Bonus: £2,000 plus 3 months guaranteed bonus

You will be:
