Education

IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group operating nationwide for over 50 years, to recruit a highly skilled Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV)/Van Technician for their busy dealership in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking career progression in a supportive and dynamic environment.

• - Up to £18 per hour, dependent on experience
• - Performance-related bonus with potential to achieve £48,000 annual on-target earnings

Duties of the Van Technician:

• - Complete all service, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards efficiently and accurately
• - Perform comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of vehicle malfunctions
• - Support colleagues with technical issues and knowledge-sharing
• - Document diagnostic findings, repairs, safety inspections, and service reports accurately
• - Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures
• - Maintain high quality standards in a busy workshop environment
• - Support the workshop team to meet productivity targets and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements of the Van Technician:

• - Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• - At least 1-2 years of relevant practical experience post-qualification
• - Experience working on vans and light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential
• - Excellent team player with a strong work ethic as the Van Technician
• - Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• - Motivated to achieve targets and committed to continuous professional development
