Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd has a van driving vacancy across Leicestershire with immediate starts and ongoing hours. You will deliver to schools, care homes and restaurants, maintaining a professional attitude and strong customer service while assisting with loading and unloading.

The role is temporary with a £13.25 per hour rate and potential move to a permanent contract, typically ~40 hours per week Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, starting early mornings.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering food and drink wholesale products is preferred.
• Professional attitude, good timekeeping and strong customer service skills required.
• Ability to assist with loading and unloading and complete vehicle checks.

Are you an experienced van driver looking for steady delivery work across Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area? This is a great opportunity to join a busy driving team, with immediate starts, ongoing hours and the chance to work towards a permanent contract.

In this role, you will deliver food and drink wholesale products to customers such as schools, care homes and restaurants. A professional attitude, good timekeeping and strong customer service skills are essential. You will also assist with loading and unloading, complete vehicle checks and work closely with the team to ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This driving role pays £13.25 per hour. Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata for PAYE.

Working Hours: Shifts are available Monday to Friday from 05:00, with occasional Saturday work, usually around 1 in every 3, when required. You can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week.
