Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is hiring a reliable van driver to deliver event and festival supplies across the East Midlands. The role requires a full UK driving licence, a clean record with no more than 6 points, and at least 6 months of van driving experience. You should be physically fit and prepared for a physically demanding job.

Hours are Monday to Friday 06:00–19:00 with Saturday rotations. The position is temporary with ongoing work, offering up to 28 days of annual leave. Closing date 26/11/2026.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• At least 6 months of commercial van driving experience.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move event equipment.
• Tail lifts experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver event and festival supplies to locations across the East Midlands.
• Interact with clients and business owners, providing good customer service.
• Ensure timely deliveries and collection handling as required.

Job Description

We are seeking reliable, hard working van drivers on behalf of our client; an established business in the event hire industry.

You will be delivering event and festival supplies to different locations across the East Midlands region. This can include marquees, chairs and stage equipment so you must be physically fit.

You will also need a good level of customer service as you will be dealing directly with clients and business owners.

Duration: This is a temporary role with ongoing work available.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This role pays £13.50 per hour

• you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave

We do not offer visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday 0600 to 1900. Saturdays are on a rotating basis, so flexibility is required for these.

Experience & Qualifications

You must have:

• A full driving licence

Experience with tail lifts is desirable but not essential.
