Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Van Driver to deliver large appliances across the UK, starting immediately. You will drive a 3.5-tonne van, work with a partner to cover driving/delivery, and assist with safe lifting and unloading using proper techniques.

You will be customer-facing, ensuring a positive experience with every delivery. This temporary ongoing role offers early start times and weekly pay, with 28 days holidays pro rata.

Job Description

Van Drivers required immediately! Weekly pay, earn up to £810 per week

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you'll be responsible for delivering large appliances across the UK, ensuring safety and efficiency every step of the way.

You will drive a 3.5-tonne low loader van, working alongside a second driver to share both driving and delivery responsibilities, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the day.
Using a shoulder dolly, you'll assist with the safe lifting and delivery of heavy items such as cookers, fridge freezers, TVs, and more. Working as a team, you'll safely offload goods while using proper techniques to reduce strain and always ensure safe handling.
As this is a customer-facing role, you'll be delivering appliances directly into customers' homes. A key part of the job is providing excellent customer service - being friendly, professional, and committed to ensuring a positive customer experience on every delivery.

Duration: This is a temporary but ongoing position

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You'll earn £13.50 per hourYou will accrue holidays up to 28 days pro rata

Working Hours: Start times vary between 04:00 and 07:00, With shifts finishing upon completion of your delivery run.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have proven commercial van driving experience and hold a valid licence with no more than 3 points.

To be eligible for this position, you'll need commercial van driving experience along with a valid licence carrying a maximum of 3 penalty points.
