An established industry player is seeking an experienced Van Driver with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence for a temp-to-perm role in Barking. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work night shifts, driving a long wheelbase van for deliveries across London and Kent. As part of your responsibilities, you will load and unload your vehicle, ensuring it remains clean and tidy. Full training will be provided, and you will work alongside experienced staff initially. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driving licence with no more than 6 points for at least 1 year.
• Experience driving vans in the UK and knowledge of London routes is essential.

Job description

Staff Solutions UK Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence on behalf of our client based in Barking, Essex.

This position is offered on a temp – perm basis meaning you would work through us for the first 12 weeks and then be taken on permanently by our client.

Please note that this is a NIGHT position, and your start time would be around 19.30 each day. You can expect to work for around 8 hours per shift, Monday – Friday.

Please note that when you become permanent you may be required to work some Saturdays.

You will be driving a long wheelbase van and making deliveries to companies based in London & Kent.

You will be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle and keeping it clean and tidy.

You will receive full training for this role and will be paired with an experienced employee to begin with.

The rate of pay for this role is £15.50 per hour.

Minimum Requirements:

1. A valid licence with no more than 6 points that you have held for at least 1 year.
2. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
3. Recent UK van driving experience.
4. Multi-drop experience.
5. Good knowledge of London.
6. Be honest & 100% reliable.
7. Be physically fit as loading & unloading is required.
8. Safety Boots.
