Job description

Driver Hire is pleased to advertise a temp-to-perm van delivery role for one of their long-standing customers. The client is based in East Grinstead and delivers across the South East. You will be assigned your own route, possibly in London.

The first 12 weeks offer a pay rate of £13.69 per hour through Driver Hire. After this period, you will become a full-time employee of the client.

The working day starts at 06:00 am and continues until the work is completed. You are guaranteed 8 hours of pay per day.

What you need

• Full manual UK driving license
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No IN, DD, or other serious endorsements
• Right to work in the UK
• Good customer service skills and a smart appearance

What is expected of you

• Professional approach to driving
• Experience in van delivery (driving Transit-sized vans)
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Keep the van clean and tidy
