Pertemps Worcester is recruiting an experienced Van Driver to join our Pershore-based client. The role involves delivering across England in vans, with potential for permanent employment. Immediate starts available for the right candidate.

The job requires a full UK driving licence, at least 12 months van driving experience, and a flexible approach to start times. Pay is £13.52 per hour, with PAYE and holiday pay accrued.

Qualifications

• Previous van-driving experience.
• A full, clean UK driving licence. No points accepted.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes
• Comfortable completing long-distance deliveries
• Flexible regarding start and finish times
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
• Minimum of 12 months driving vans.

Responsibilities

• Completing up to six deliveries per day
• Driving safely to locations throughout England
• Operating Sprinter and 3.5-tonne Luton vans
• Using a tail lift when loading and unloading deliveries
• Carrying out vehicle checks before setting off
• Completing all relevant delivery paperwork
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Ensuring goods arrive safely and on time
