Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is recruiting experienced Van Drivers to join a leading logistics company in Newent. This full-time role offers early starts, possible overtime, and a temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate.

You will perform multi-drop deliveries, handle loading/unloading, and complete paperwork, starting around 3am. A reliable, punctual driver with a clean licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable working independently and managing delivery routes.
• Knowledge of Gloucester road networks is advantageous.
• Ability to follow strict processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Multi drop 5-10 per day, depending on route.
• Typical shifts are 8-10+ hours per day.
• Unloading and loading of goods from vehicle to delivery.
• Completing delivery paperwork.
• Start times from 3am onwards.
• Heavy lifting required.

Van Driver needed in Newent, paying £13.25 per hour, working Monday to Friday, full time work, early starts and overtime available after 45 hours. Heavy lifting is required for this role. Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers to join a leading logistics company based in Newent. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent full-time or ad-hoc work with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This role will include early starts and manual handling will be required.

The Role
