Job summary

Kinaxia are recruiting a Van Driver / FLT to join their team at their site in Telford. The successful candidate will deliver and collect products and goods safely and efficiently to designated locations within a set time frame to ensure customer expectations are met.

Complete daily vehicle checks, secure loads and maintain POD records. Adhere to Highway Code, tachograph rules and transport regulations to keep operations safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Full EU driving licence required.
• Experience as a multi-drop driver and FLT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Highway Code and tachograph requirements.
• Understanding of transport methods, costs, routes and geography.
• Safety knowledge of loading and unloading processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect report sheets to ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and unload vehicles with care to maintain safety.
• Maintain accurate POD records and record shortages/damages.
• Comply with company and customer procedures; report delays or issues.
• Follow Highway Code, FORS, tachograph, Working Time Regulations and Road Transport Regulations.
• Inform Traffic Office immediately if involved in an incident.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and a safe workplace.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with Health and Safety requirements.
