Job summary

Berwick Care Homes Limited in Telford is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. You will deliver customer orders across the UK, represent the company professionally, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Key duties include loading routes, delivering promptly, obtaining POD signatures, and supporting warehousing when not on deliveries. A full UK licence is preferred; C1 and Driver CPC desirable but training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous van driving in a multi-drop setting.
• Warehouse or logistics experience is helpful.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record preferred.
• C1 licence and Driver CPC desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Load, check, and prepare delivery routes for daily runs.
• Deliver orders promptly and accurately; assist with unloading when needed.
• Obtain customer signatures using the POD system and return notes promptly.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report issues immediately.
• Support warehouse operations when not on delivery, including picking, packing and labelling.
• Keep van clean, tidy, and roadworthy, adhering to 5S principles.
