Job summary

QS Recruitment is hiring a van driver in the United Kingdom for a busy period. The role involves delivering up to 12 drops daily and assisting with loading and unloading.

This temporary position starts ASAP and runs for about four weeks, with a path to ongoing work for the right candidate. Hours are Monday to Friday, 11am start, finishing by 8pm, at a pay rate of £12.90 per hour, with holiday accrual pro rata.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• Be over the age of 26 years old.
• Have proven work experience of driving a van for deliveries or collections.
• Be looking for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Complete up to 12 drops per day and assist with loading/unloading.
• Temporary role with potential to become ongoing.
• Work Monday to Friday, 11:00 start, finish by 8:00pm.

Are you a Van driver who doesn’t want multi-drop work? We have an opportunity for you to start working ASAP!
Our client are looking for additional support during this busy period, could this be you?
You can expect to complete up to 12 drops per day as well as supporting with the loading and unloading. Whilst this position is initially for a temporary period, there is every opportunity that it could lead to ongoing work.

Duration: This is initially a 4 week temporary role, however, it does offer the chance of becoming ongoing with a potential temp to perm for the right canidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.90 per hour and holiday is accrued on a pro rata basis.Please note, we do not offer Visa Sponsorships

Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday role with a later morning start of 11am, so perfect for anyone who has children or family commitments in the morning. You will usually finish no later than 8pm and work up to 40 hours per week (less breaks)
