Job summary

Greencore Group in Worksop is seeking a delivery driver to join our nationwide team, ensuring fresh stock is delivered daily to retailers and stores across the region.

You would typically start around 11:00, work five days per week including Saturdays, and be paired with a colleague to learn the ropes. Training is provided and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license held for at least six months with up to 6 points.
• Van driving experience preferred.
• Great with people and strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading customer orders in and out the van.
• Ensuring all orders are correct with delivery notes.
• Delivering customer orders in a professional manner.
• Following Health and Safety and driving laws.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the van and loading areas.
• Wearing all PPE issued at all times.

Job description

ShiftTimes:11am to 1pm start time

Pay Rate:£13.60 per hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Shift Pattern:Sunday to Friday with a rolling rest day

Workload:On average between 20 to 30 drops per day

Overtime:Premiums are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

Routes are planned in with a run time of 8 to 12 hours long.

Manton 110:

OurManton 110site is a major picking depot in Worksop, employing more than 200 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed.You would be expected to work 5 days per week, including mandatory Saturdays. On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
