Job summary

Pertemps Heathrow is seeking reliable Van Drivers to join a busy pharmaceutical distribution operation. You will deliver pharmaceutical products to retail and residential premises, with a typical 45-hour week and Monday to Friday shifts, plus occasional Saturdays at enhanced pay.

This temp-to-perm role offers a pathway to a permanent position after a successful temporary period. You must hold a full UK driving licence (max 5 points), be aged 21+, and be prepared for a Basic DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical products to retail and residential premises.
• Complete approximately 20–60 deliveries per day.

• Ensure deliveries are completed within required timescales.
• Handle pharmaceutical products in line with procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and operate vehicle safely.
• Provide a professional and reliable service to customers.

We are currently recruiting for reliable and professional Van Drivers to join a busy pharmaceutical distribution operation, delivering essential pharmaceutical products to retail and residential premises.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. The role provides consistent work Monday to Friday, with start times varying between 06:30 and 07:30 and occasional Saturday shifts paid at an enhanced rate.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for:

• * Delivering pharmaceutical products, including controlled drugs, to retail and residential premises
• * Completing approximately 20-60 deliveries per day, depending on the delivery radius
• * Following pre-planned and time sensitive delivery routes
• * Ensuring deliveries are completed within the required timescales
• * Handling pharmaceutical products in line with company procedures
• * Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is operated safely
• * Providing a professional and reliable service to customers

The role is based on a 45-hour working week, with a minimum of 8 hours per day.

Requirements

• * Full, valid UK driving licence
• * Maximum of 5 points on your licence
• * Must be aged 21 or over
