Job summary

Pertemps North West and North Wales are seeking a Van Driver in Saint Helens (WA10) to deliver pharmaceutical products across the UK and Ireland. You will complete a high volume of deliveries per day, follow time-sensitive routes, and ensure safe handling of all products.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, a DBS check, and candidates aged 21+ with under 6 points. This is a temporary to permanent contract, with Monday to Friday, approx. 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• DBS check is required.
• Applicants must be 21 or over and have fewer than 6 points on their licence.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes is essential.
• Strong time management and punctuality are required.
• Ability to follow planned routes and schedules.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical products, including controlled drugs, to retail and residential premises.
• Complete 20-60 deliveries per day depending on the delivery area.
• Follow pre-planned and time-sensitive routes.
• Handle products safely and securely.
• Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report issues promptly.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and secure.

The successful Van Driver will have the following skills:
