Pertemps is working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit Van Drivers for the Truro site. If you are looking for work, our onsite team across the country is seeking Drivers to start immediately.

As a Van Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will be required to trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. Shifts are offered 1 week in advance, with various start times and days to suit different schedules. Flexibility and willingness to work weekends, afternoons, evenings, or nights are preferred.

To meet entry requirements, you will need:

1. Held your licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points.
2. A clean licence is preferred, as exceeding 5 points could end your assignment.
3. No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements accepted.
4. Ability to clear a CRB security check following registration.

In return, Van Drivers will receive:

1. Pay rates from £15.86 to £25.16 per hour, depending on shift start/finish times.
2. Minimum daily hours guaranteed.
3. Option to lock into a preferred shift pattern after completing the driving assessment, subject to availability.
4. Accrued holiday pay.
5. Access to pension (PAYE).
6. Onsite local agency office and consultants.
7. Weekly pay.
8. Control over your work schedule via a work management system, allowing you to choose shifts on available days.
9. Preference for peak period availability to meet client needs.
