Job summary

Swift Temps is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join a well-established building materials company in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The role runs Monday to Friday with start times around 6:00am and long days. Up to 10 drops per day, physical duties, and use of PDA for real-time updates are required.

This temp-to-perm opportunity requires reliability, independence, and professional customer interaction, with a strong emphasis on safety and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.

Swift Temps are currently recruiting an experienced Van Driver to work with a well-established building materials company. Working Days: Monday to Friday

Start Time: 6:00am

Working Hours: Approximately 45-50 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour

Deliveries: Up to 10 drops per day

Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

About the Van Driver role:

You will be responsible for completing daily deliveries of building materials to customers, following an allocated route and ensuring all deliveries are made safely and on time. The role will involve up to 10 drops per day. You will also be required to use a PDA/handheld device to scan deliveries and update delivery information throughout your route. Due to the physical nature of the role, you will need to be reasonably fit and comfortable handling and moving building materials as part of your daily duties.
