Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking a reliable Van Driver for Gloucester. The role offers early starts with 04:00–07:00 shifts and 13.21 £ per hour with all hours paid including breaks. You will deliver to homes and businesses, handle light to moderate lifting, and provide friendly service.

You'll join a flexible team with weekly or monthly pay, uniform and PPE provided, and potential temp-to-perm opportunities. Ongoing work and development opportunities are available through Pertemps Gloucester.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Good communication and customer-focused attitude.
• Multi-drop experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company van (Cat B) and complete 1–12 deliveries per day.
• Deliver to residential and commercial customers.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.

We're recruiting Van Drivers for a well-established delivery company in Gloucester. Paying £13.21 per hour, with all hours worked and breaks fully paid, this role offers ongoing work, ad-hoc shifts, and potential temp-to-perm opportunities for the right driver.

The Role

• Driving a company van (Category B Licence)
• Start times between 04:00 and 07:00
• Completing 1 to 12 deliveries per day
• Delivering products to residential and commercial customers
• Heavy lifting and handball required
• Offloading products to the kerbside or designated delivery location only
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Good communication skills
• Previous multi-drop experience is desirable but not essential
