Job summary

Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting experienced Category B Van Drivers for ongoing temporary work with leading local businesses in Poole and the surrounding area. You’ll typically complete 8–15 deliveries per shift and earn £14.24–£16.31 per hour with weekly pay and flexible shifts.

As a professional van driver, you’ll load and unload, follow planned routes, carry out basic vehicle checks and work to road safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category B driving licence required.
• Experience driving a 3.5-tonne van.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Own transport to travel to and from work.

Your Role

As a professional Van Driver, you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5-tonne delivery van safely and professionally
• Completing approximately 8-15 deliveries each shift
• Loading and unloading goods safely
• Following planned delivery routes
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks
• Working safely and following all road traffic regulations

Every day is different, with a variety of delivery routes and local customers.

What You’ll Need

Full UK Category B driving licence

Previous experience driving a 3.5-tonne commercial van

No more than 6 penalty points

Good level of physical fitness
