Job summary

Proman in Gateshead is hiring for a Van Driver/Warehouse Operative with an immediate start. A full UK driving licence is required to complete deliveries using company vans and work on a fixed route around Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (40 hours paid) with alternating Saturdays 8:30am–12:30pm. Training provided; previous experience in order picking or loading is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required for deliveries.
• Willing to undertake order picking and loading/unloading.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
• Temporary to permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders and load the van for delivery.
• Deliver automotive parts on a fixed route around Newcastle.
• Move goods between the warehouse and customers.

Van Driver/Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative/Van Driver urgently required in Gateshead NE11.

Pay rate - £12.71 per hour

PROMAN have an immediate start and are currently recruiting for some Warehouse Operative/Van Drivers (Crafter or Sprinter-style Van) who are happy to join a well-established and expanding Automotive distribution business.

*Please note* a full driving licence is required as you will be completing order deliveries using one of the company's vans.

Hours - Monday to Friday - 8.30am-5.30pm (40 hours paid per week) plus 8.30am-12.30pm on alternating Saturdays.

The role will involve order picking of Automotive products, loading of the van and then delivery of the automotive parts around a set route of regular customers in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

These Van Driver roles are offered on a temporary to permanent basisfor the rigfht person.
