Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence held for at least one year.
• Age 21 or over for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Clean driving record with a maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences.
• No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements.
• Physical fitness to undertake manual loading and heavy lifting.
• Great communication skills and a punctual, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading the van at the start of each shift.

This role would suit applications who have worked in a role as a 3.5 Tonne Drivers, Delivery Driver or Courier Drivers. If you love being out on the road, meeting customers, and want a role that respects your work-life balance, we want to hear from you.

Rates of Pay

• £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

Shift Pattern

As a Van Delivery Driver, you will work:

• Monday to Friday
• Shifts typically run between 5 and 10 hours per day
• Weekly rota provided in advance
• No weekend work

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as a Van Delivery Driver are:

• Safely loading your van at the start of your shift
• Inspecting your vehicle to ensure it is road-ready
• Driving safely and efficiently across local routes while adhering to traffic laws
• Delivering goods safely to clients
• Providing a helpful and friendly service to customers
• Unloading any returns
• Accurately completing paperwork and delivery records
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Van Delivery Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category B Driving Licence held for at least one year
• To be aged 21 or over for vehicle insurance purposes
