People Solutions is recruiting a Van Driver in Derby to join our established client. You will deliver small parcels within a defined area, completing ~30-40 deliveries daily and performing daily vehicle checks. There is potential to secure a permanent position after six weeks with immediate starts available.

The role operates Monday to Saturday with 06:00 starts and offers competitive hourly rates, weekly pay, ongoing work, and industry-related training and support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category B Driving Licence.
• No more than three penalty points for minor offences.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Delivering small parcels within a designated delivery area.
• Completing approximately 30-40 deliveries per day.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork and electronic records as required.
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before departure.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location.
• Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures.

Van Driver - Derby

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Derby.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position after just six weeks.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as a Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver or Delivery Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.76 per hour
• £19.68 per hour after 48 hours worked

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Saturday
• 06:00 start times
• Saturday shifts are shorter than weekday shifts
