Job description

Driver Hire Lincoln are recruiting Van Drivers for an exciting on going long term 5 month position!

Location: Horncastle

Start date: 6th May 2025.

Pay £12.46 - £16.61 per hour.

The work will involve;

• Monday to Friday work


• delivering and assembling products to business's nationwide


• Start times between 03:00 and 07:00 in the morning (must be flexible)


• 8-12 hour days


• Loading the van at the end of each working day ready for deliveries the following day


• On rare occasion, up to 2 nights out a week in a hotel (pre planned with notice)


• Manual lifting required to load, unload and assemble deliveries.


• Training provided on how to assemble equipment at each delivery.

The hourly rate pay rate will be £12.46 and £16.61 per hour over time after 40 hours per week. Paid on a PAYE basis. On the occasion you are required to night out, the hotel will be booked and paid for in a Premier Inn, breakfast is included along with a £26.00 evening meal allowance, and £6.00 allowance for lunch.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid in date Cat B 3.5 tonne Driving licence


• Personal transport (to and from the work place)


• Hi vis and safety boots


• 'Can do' attitude


• Flexibility is a must for the customer


• No major endorsements on licence


• Happy to have a enhanced DBS performed on them.


• Must be flexible to start early and night out during the week as and when required.

This position could potentially lead to a full time permanent position with our customer if the successful candidate is interested in full time work.
