Job summary

Barnardo's is recruiting a Retail Van Driver to join our team at the Durham Superstore. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to keep stores profitable, while ensuring the safety of valuable and fragile items and maintaining records for vehicle use.

You will receive full training and development, with opportunities for progression, pension and additional benefits as part of Barnardo's commitment to its staff and the communities we serve.

Our Van Drivers are a vital part of the network of stores and we can't wait to bring you onto the team. You'll need to be well organised, with a can do attitude both with our customers and your colleagues alike and you will need to handle valuables and fragile items appropriately to avoid damage. You will need to be a good record keeper and you will be responsible for the day to day care of the company vehicle.
