Job summary

The Best Connection Portsmouth is recruiting for a Van Driver role based in Fareham and serving the South Coast. The position involves making 10-15 deliveries of car batteries, operating a van safely, and completing daily checks and paperwork.

You will interact with customers, office staff and site personnel, ensuring loads are secured and the vehicle remains presentable. Working hours are 08:30-17:00, Monday to Friday, with a £13.17 per hour pay rate and references available to contact.

Qualifications

• Cat B licence required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes).

• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Assist with loading your vehicle both AM and PM.

The Best Connection Portsmouth is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Fareham for van drivers for ongoing and ad‑hoc work.

• You will be required to do 10-15 deliveries of car batteries across the South Coast areas.
• Operate a van safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes).
• Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel.
• Secure loads correctly and transport safely.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• You will also be required to assist with loading your vehicle both AM and PM.

Hours of work for the Van Driver

• 08:30-17:00 each day.
• Monday to Friday only.

Pay Rates

• £13.17 per hour.
• Mon 8 hours per shift.

Requirements
