Job summary

Lloyd Recruitment Services are partnering with a family-owned business near Edenbridge to recruit a part-time Van Driver. The role requires driving in and around Central London with a company van and sat nav provided. It offers 2/3 days per week with hours flexible and pro rata pay.

Ideal candidates will have van driving experience in London, a full UK driving licence, and be dependable, punctual and well-organised. Expect on-site parking and training in a supportive environment.

• Experience in a similar driving/stores role.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Organised and able to manage tasks efficiently and with care.

Responsibilities

• Order preparation: pick, pack and prepare items for delivery.
• Deliver stock to locations across London and the southeast.
• Stock management: unload, check against delivery notes, and maintain inventory.
• Keep work areas and vehicles clean and well-maintained.
• Provide warehouse support including some manual lifting (up to 20kgs).

Please note: You will be driving in and around Central London, so previous van driving experience in London is essential.

• Efficient deliveries: deliver stock to various locations across London and the southeast, supporting our team of engineers
• Stock management: unload, check items against delivery notes, and keep inventory in order
• Clean and organised: ensure work areas and vehicles are well-maintained
• Warehouse support: handle deliveries and look after the stockroom, including some manual lifting (up to 20kgs)

About You:

• Dependable and flexible. Punctual and able to adapt to changing schedules
• Experience in a similar driving/ stores role
• Organised and able to manage tasks efficiently and with care
• Full UK driver's licence, comfortable with LWB vans
