Van Delivery Drivers Wanted!

Location: Dunstable (LU5)
Hourly Rate: £13.42 per hour (overtime available at 1.5x)
Days of work: Up to 5 days Monday - Friday
Hours of work: 9am - finish
Length of contract: Temp to Perm
Start date: ASAP

Gi Group are currently recruiting Van Drivers to join our well established client in Luton.

Duties of a Van Driver will include:

1. Be an ambassador of the company; positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
2. Safe loading and unloading of parcels onto a van.
3. Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set time frames.
4. Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorization if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care.
5. Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including a hand-held scanner.
6. Complete up to 100 drops per day.

The ideal Van Driver will have:

1. A full UK driving licence, with no more than 6 points and not have been disqualified in the last five years.
2. Multi-drop experience (preferable).
3. An enthusiasm and passion to deliver the best service at all times.
4. Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
5. Work collaboratively as part of a team.
