Job description

Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to be offering a flexible temporary opportunity for a delivery Van Driver in Bridport. For this role, you will be responsible for Food deliveriesin the local area. The typical amount of drops per day is 8-12.

Position: Van Driver (Category B)

Days: Monday – Friday (flexible)

The successful Van Driver will have:

• experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
• a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
• own reliable transport to travel to work
• physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner

Responsibilities:

• adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
• safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
• load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

Our Van Driver offer:

• a minimum of 8 hours’ pay is guaranteed for every shift

This position is commutable from Weymouth, Dorchester, Yeovil and other areas near to Bridport.
